A profound tool, shamanic journeying is an ancient practice that allows us to travel into upper and lower spiritual realms to convene with spirit, connect with self and deepen our healing path. Similar to a daydream, journeying is an astral trip or shift in consciousness that brings us in direct conversation with compassionate, healed and helpful spirits—be it our higher self, ancestors, teachers and power animals.

4. common experiences and expectations
5. benefits and basics of journeying
6. intention-setting and protocol
7. ceremonial sharing, permission and ethics
8. personal responsibility and self-care (healing crisis)
9. the three worlds—upper, middle and lower—what are they and how to access each one, and
10. how to journey with a guide and connect with spirit—be it your ancestors, teachers, animal guides, higher self

What to wear/have with you:

• wear comfortable clothes
• a blindfold/bandana to block out light while journeying
• journal and pen
• a mat/blanket/pillow
• drum and rattle (optional)
